Over the space of the late 19th century into the mid 20th century, more than 2 million West End Watch Co trench watches were produced in Switzerland and supplied to various armies across the world, in particular, with hundreds of thousands of trench watches supplied to soldiers of the British Armed forces and allied troops including the Rajput Rifles, the Gurkha Brigades and many others.
This remains one of West End Watch Company's strongest legacies. Over its uninterrupted lifespan as a watchmaker, 15 million watches having been sold throughout the world over the course of 130 years.
These West End trench watches (functional and non-functional) can be found today in marketplaces across Asia and the Far East, as well as on online selling platforms.
