Abundance of customised WEWCo timepieces

It is quite common to come across customised versions of WEWCo. timepieces across different parts of the world. These are timepieces with customisations to movements (inside), but also customisations to visible physical features such as dial cases, hands, dial markers, crowns, and ofcourse straps/bracelets.  The market is flooded with such customised timepieces. Reasons for this are a many. At times the customisation being a necessity resulting from the need to service or restore. Other times the custimisation being a result of trying to salvage non-functioninig or damanged timepieces.

Below is an example of a customised WEWCo. timepiece which unusually has two crowns. This model (or any similar) cannot be found in official WEWCo. catalogues and appears to be a customised pocket watch.  Pieces like these can often be found on sale online or in watch markets and stores across the asian continent.
