Below is a timepiece which was known as the 'fancy shaped' sterling silver lever watch, sold during 1910’s - 1920’s. These adopted what is referred to as early art-deco style.
These 'fancy shaped' lever models came in a square cases with round shaped glasses and were featured in sterling silver. Found inside were 11" size superior keyless lever movements, fully jewelled. And with radium (blued) hands at an additional cost of Rs 5. These watches came with a 2 year warranty
This particular model was recently sold at auction in the range of 164-220 SWISS FRANC (GBP 150-£200)
Below is a also brochure/catalogue of this watch series from the 1910s-1920s. It features this watch watch which is referenced in the brochure as the Square B model and cost Rs 45 (or Rs 50 enamelled)
