An example of a West End Watch Co. pocket watch from early 1900's when they were in high demand and the concept of a wrist watch with a leather strap that could be tied around the wrist was still to be popularised (made mainstream by Cartier and Longines).
The Competition model sported a movement manufactured by Brac AG, of Breitenbach, Switzerland, that produced watch movements from 1904-1982.
The competition model was a value for money watch of the highest quality which offered reliability and durability as key properties.
